In this day of specialists, there is a need for objective consultation from the position of a broad background. Richard Pitt and his team of associates and employees brings a diverse and in some cases eclectic background to the problems of today's business systems and communications problems. 

From short contracts involving installation, support,  training and integration of paper and automated systems, to the specification, costing, funding, creation and implementation of major business, information and technology systems, Pacific Data Capture and our associates have handled them all.

Beyond business communications of all kinds, our expertise includes business systems security, integration of policies and procedures with physical systems (paper, video surveillance, etc.), automated systems (cash registers, order entry, inventory control, invoicing, A/R, A/P), internal computer systems (desktop, mainframe, mini) and integrated Internet systems (web, e-commerce, e-mail, etc.) We consult to all manner of businesses; from those new to automation and the Internet, to established  firms with pre-existing communications, media,  automation and Internet presence. 

Our long history in the computer industry includes work with virtually every main stream computer technology including large mainframe systems (IBM, DEC and others), mini computers (DEC, MAI, HP, Data General), and microcomputers including Unix and Xenix based systems, CPM, MPM, Apple, IBM, Tandy/Radio Shack, Altos; as well as the more recent Microsoft Windows, Linux, BSD, Sun Solaris and other systems. We have worked also with all manner of today's embedded systems, from remote data entry to payment technologies and vending hardware.

We specialize in the creation of migration plans, integration of disparate systems, data migration, and business systems integration of  paper, fax, telephone, and computer facilities. This includes writing business plans, policies and procedures, training plans and schedules. 

Contract positions include Chief Technical Officer, VP of Internet Services, MIS Manager, as well as equity positions as CEO, General Manager, and President.
